"Cuvée Valentino" was born by chance, just like the beautiful friendship with chef-owner Mauro Colagreco of restaurant "Mirazur” in Menton (France).

A "Rucantú 2009" left on lees to age for 4 years ... to experiment and see the potential and limits of a Pigato from old vines.

Mauro fell in love with the wine as he tasted it from the barrel and asked me to make a cuvée in Magnum.

I decided to dedicate it to the newly born Valentino, son of Mauro and Julia, and to my father Valentino who sadly passed away recently.
